Paradise Dental Technologies, Missoula, Mont, the manufacturer of the Platypus® Ortho Flosser, has made significant enhancements to the Platypus. According to the company, the new Platypus features stronger, more durable floss and a narrower thin side to help it fit better under the archwire. The handle is also now made of a higher-quality polymer.
The Platypus includes a rigid bracket brush for removing food particles from around the brackets. It is packaged in a brand-new instructional bag that holds 30 flossers.
