G&H Orthodontics, Franklin, Ind, is marking 41 years in the industry with the announcement of the company’s expansion at the upcoming American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Annual Session in Orlando, Fla.

According to Brandon Bernacchi, vice president of operations, the company has expanded its elastomeric manufacturing capacity by 60%, and increased production capabilities for brackets and wires, due to increasing demand. In addition, the company has instituted a new warehouse management system (WMS) that allows it to better trace orders and provide faster and more complete customer shipping. “This, so far, has led to a 200% improvement in orders shipped same or next day,” says Bernacchi.

In line with its expansion efforts, the company has welcomed a number of new staff members since the beginning of the year, including Jim Aycock, the company’s new vice president of sales. Australian-based Riccardo Pini also came aboard to cover sales in Asia Pacific, while Hong Kong-based Elizabeth Young joined to cover Asia. Dennis Stewart joined to cover Dental Service Organizations in the United States. In addition, three new customer specialists joined the company: Viola Newman, Rudy Olivo, and Tana Marshall.

The company has also updated its website in response to customer feedback. According to Emily Frische, director of marketing, the new website has expanded the information it offers to customers on its products. The website now includes patient cases, videos, and a quick reorder feature.
