OrthoEssentials, Southampton, Pa, has added the Super Screw to its line of maxillary expanders. The Super Screw comes in 12 mm and 16 mm sizes, both of which use the same size hex wrench for easy opening. According to the company, the Super Screw is friction-coated to prevent relapse and has a strong body design that results in true parallel maxillary expansion.
