Palmero Healthcare, Stratford, Conn, a subsidiary of Hu-Friedy, recently introduced Provision® New Safety Eyewear. Available in nine unique styles, they are intended for dental professionals and patients.
Palmero’s Provision New Safety Eyewear is designed to protect against spray, splash, and splatter for infection control; to eliminate blue light exposure; and to protect from high impact flying projectiles that can cause permanent damage to the eye.
The eyewear line includes full-face shields and goggles, as well as more procedure specific systems like laser safety and bonding glasses. Provision New Safety Eyewear meets the ANSI Z87.1 eye and face protection standards with UVA and UVB protection. In addition, the product line incorporates a lightweight wraparound design, as well as anti-fog coating and scratch resistant technologies.
The Provision Allure, Air, Element, and Clarity models are available in an ultra-lightweight design. The Eyesaver Sleeks googles are ultra-light and fit over prescription eyewear, with adjustable temples to allow for broader facial fit. The Provision EZ-Focals are contoured with soft tips for added comfort, grip and a secure fit. Provision Clarity provides clear and uninterrupted vision with its enhanced ultra anti-fog technology. It also fits small/narrow and medium face shapes. ProVision Flexiwrap offers full wraparound protection and a secure, comfortable fit with shorter, soft touch temples and a soft nose bridge.
The Provision Infinity features anti-static and anti-fogging for added protection and venting. It also has a pantoscopic tilt feature. Ratcheting temple arms allow for customizable fit and optimal comfort.
The full 50 mm diameter-magnifying lens of Palmero’s Provision Econo Loupes provides a fully enhanced clinical field and is a lightweight alternative to traditional loupes. It is designed to reduce eye strain and increase visual precision.
