Discus Dental’s Desktop Lasers Approved for Canadian Sales

Discus DentalLLC, Culver City, Calif, now offers its SoftLase Pro, HygieneLase,and Ortholase desktop soft-tissue diode lasers in Canada. The lasershave been approved as Class III Medical Devices by Health Canada.

The SoftLase Pro (pictured) performs soft-tissue management for both surgical andnonsurgical procedures. HygieneLase is designed for use by hygienistsfor treatment of periodontal disease. The Ortholase can be used forsoft-tissue exposures and gingivectomies with no local anesthesia andwith minimal bleeding.
