Orchestrate 3D System Now Accepted for Use with Planmeca Intraoral Scanners

Planmeca, Helsinki, Finland, announced that scans from the Planmeca Emerald^™ and Planmeca PlanScan^® intraoral scanners are now accepted for use with the Orchestrate 3D system.

Orchestrate 3D, based in Rialto, Calif, provides treatment planning software and 3D printing solutions that allow orthodontists to design and create clear aligners and other orthodontic appliances.

After scanning, orthodontists can plan the treatment themselves and either print in-house or use the Orchestrate 3D service for printing, or they can send the STL files to Orchestrate for both planning and 3D printing.

Earlier this month, Planmeca announced integration of its Emerald and PlanScan intraoral scanners with the ClearCorrect and ClearCaps aligner systems.
