Carestream Dental announced its partnership with MouthWatch as part of its efforts to bring teledentistry to its customers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company’s digital imaging and practice management solutions will have access to MouthWatch’s TeleDent teledentistry platform.
Via the TeleDent platform, existing patients can contact the orthodontic office if they have a question or orthodontic emergency. The platform enables live streaming video consultations to facilitate remote treatment planning, supervision, and collaboration in real-time and asynchronously at the provider’s convenience.
