tab32_HelloPatient_version-2tab32, Sacramento, Calif, introduced the newest version of its patient communication system HelloPatient. The new version allows flexible online appointment scheduling for small, medium, and large group practices with single or multiple providers, and multi-location practices with single or multiple databases.

HelloPatient also adds online appointment booking and online appointment requesting features for the practice’s public website for new patients. This method allows patients to avoid calling the office or filling out a web form to book or request an appointment. According to the company, this feature is aimed at reducing lead conversions and loss of revenue to the practice, “especially, when Google Adwords for ‘nearby dentist’ are getting expensive by the day.”

The new booking feature allows practices to collect partial payment like co-pay or booking fees upfront while booking or requesting an appointment. This feature is designed to reduce no-shows and create more quality lead conversions. In addition, this feature will allow a practice to open booking for custom services like new patient exams, second opinions, and other special appointments for a more optimized workflow.

The booking feature is designed for use with iPhone, Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, iPads, and Android tablets.

HelloPatient already features a number of modern communication features such as two-way texting within EHR, online consent forms, secured messages, reminders, and birthday messages.
