The DentalEZ® Group, Fair Haven, NJ, has donated a number of its J/V Generation® patient chairs and operatory stools to a new Kids Smiles facility that opened in Washington, DC, on November 22.

Kids Smiles operates nonprofit dental centers that provide dental services and outreach programs to underserved children from the ages of 0 to 15. There are currently two Kids Smiles facilities in Philadelphia. The opening of the new facility in Washington, DC, is part of the organization’s plan to offer care to children in need throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Kids Smiles is dedicated to treating the whole child in order to develop positive dental health habits. The Kids Smiles staff is committed to providing quality dental services while establishing individual relationships with the children and their parents in order to identify the child’s specific dental health needs.

According to DentalEZ, the J/V-Generation Chairs (pictured) that the company donated allow patients to recline in the most anatomically correct position possible, while providing the dentist with unencumbered movement and unrestricted access to the oral cavity. The chair’s adjustable, independent seat tilt feature helps maintain proper spinal alignment to reduce stress on the discs and soft tissue around the patient’s spine.

The Generation Premium Doctor’s Stool is designed to provide maximum efficiency and comfort, and reduce physical strain on the dental professional. The stools are equipped with a broad caster base and five casters to improve stability and allow better movement. They have adjustable back support, height adjustment, and a seat tilt feature.
