Ultradent, South Jordan, Utah, unveiled all-new premium packaging for its professional take-home whitening system, Opalescence Go tooth whitening. The new packaging includes a new dispense features that allows patients to take off the box top, turn around the lid, and remove each individually wrapped tray.
In addition to the newly designed boxes and dispense system, patients will also receive a 1-ounce tube of Opalescence Whitening Toothpaste in every full patient kit.
Opalescence Go whitening patient kits contain 10 individually wrapped, disposable, profiled upper and lower UltraFit trays that mold to the teeth for a custom-like fit and molar-to-molar coverage, according to the company. Opalescence Go whitening is also available in mini kits, which contain four upper and lower individually wrapped UltraFit trays, designed for whitening touch ups.
Clinicians now have the option of purchasing the new Opalescence Go whitening sample tower, which features the same new packaging and 20 ready-to-go samples. Each sample includes a card that opens to reveal full step-by-step instructions so the patient can apply the trays correctly at home without additional office staff instruction.
Opalescence Go whitening comes in a 10% hydrogen peroxide concentration that can be worn for 30 to 60 minutes. Mint and melon flavors are available. The 15% hydrogen peroxide concentration is available in the mint flavor and allows for a 15- to 20-minute wear time. Opalescence Go whitening also contains PF (potassium nitrate and fluoride).
