The TRIOS® 3 digital dental impression system from 3Shape, Copenhagen, Denmark, has received the 2015 Pride Institute “Best of Class” Technology Award. This marks the third year in a row that 3Shape TRIOS and the new generation, TRIOS 3, has won the award.
The Pride Institute “Best of Class” Technology Awards are presented annually to global products judged to deliver “Best of Class” value to dental professionals in a variety of categories. The “Best of Class” awards were launched in 2009 and aim to provide an unbiased, nonprofit assessment of available technologies in the dental space.
TRIOS first entered the market in 2011. The latest generation, the TRIOS 3 intraoral scanner, features shade measurement, an integrated intraoral camera, and flexible hardware configurations. According to the company, the TRIOS 3 is open and flexible for any lab setup.
