Patient Pass has launched its HIPAA-compliant messaging platform for dental and medical offices. The platform makes offices available via standard text messaging, allowing patients to send and receive messages. This provides a real-time link between office and patient.
Messages pop up in real-time on a visual dashboard. As the company points out, these message notifications are more informative than a ringing phone or beeping voicemail indicator.
Similar to a desktop version of a phone’s texting application, each office computer can receive and respond immediately to patient messages, or they can tag and prioritize messages, even transfer them to other office staff.
According to the company, Patient Pass can be used with new patient referrals.
