Ormco Corp, Orange, Calif, has opened registration for The Forum 2016. The 15th annual orthodontic conference will take place February 10 to 13, 2016, at the oceanfront Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. It will feature personalized education, one-on-one networking opportunities, and a full range of clinical and practice management sessions designed for both doctors and staff.

“In 2016 we will celebrate The Forum’s crystal anniversary,” said Patrik Eriksson, president of Ormco. “For 15 years, we have connected the orthodontic community with progressive educational content that helps doctors and staff members make a lasting impact on their patients and practices. The theme of the Forum this year will be ‘Face 2 Face,’ highlighting our commitment to delivering an engaging experience where industry experts, peers, and friends can gather to create meaningful relationships and discuss advancements in orthodontics. From the latest treatment modalities and techniques to practice differentiation strategies, we invite orthodontic professionals from around the world to join us for this unique educational opportunity.”

Designed to keep participants at the forefront of global orthodontic methodologies, Forum 2016 will feature a number of speakers, including Drs Chris Chang of Taiwan, Ramon Perera of Spain, and Stuart Frost of the United States, who will present their philosophies and clinical cases on The Forum’s main stage. During the 4-day conference, a number of workshops will be available to participants, including those addressing beginner to advanced content on Damon™ passive self-ligation mechanics, finishing, open bites, Class II and Class III treatment, and digital smile design.

Participants who are new to passive self-ligation are encouraged to attend the optional Pre-Forum Damon Essentials Seminar facilitated by Dr Alan Bagden on February 10, 2016. Bagden, who has 14 years of experience as a Damon System educator, will lead participants through the fundamentals of the Damon philosophy to a deeper knowledge of how to employ simplified passive self-ligating treatment mechanics.

Ormco will host a charity event and silent auction as part of its 15-year anniversary celebration benefiting Smile Train, a nonprofit that provides training and funding to empower doctors to provide free cleft repair surgery in over 85 developing countries.
