The organization is offering a 50% discount on registration to make the August conference, which will focus on dental infection prevention and safety, available to as many dental professionals as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Organization for Safety Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) has decided to go virtual for its 2020 meetings. Due to the continuing impact of COVID-19, the organization is cancelling its in-person 2020 OSAP Annual Conference and the pre-conference OSAP Basic Training – Dental Infection Prevention and Safety Course, originally scheduled to be held in Minneapolis.

The 2020 OSAP Virtual Conference will be held August 13 to 15 and include the organization’s regular offerings and opportunities for engagement, including plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, and space to connect with sponsors, exhibitors, and innovative thinkers in dental infection prevention, occupational health, and patient safety from across the globe. In addition to participating in the live event, which will offer CE credits, all registered participants will have access to on-demand recordings of the sessions for 1 year.

“We are excited to be able to offer the same vibrant programming, impactful networking, and opportunities to reflect and connect over emerging and salient topics in dental infection prevention, occupational health, and patient safety from the comfort of home, “ says OSAP Executive Director Michelle Lee, CPC.

Recognizing that everyone in the dental community has been affected by COVID-19, OSAP is offering a 50% discount on registration fees.

Early-bird rates are available now through Friday, July 17 at osap.org/page/2020annualconf.
