Hu-Friedy, Chicago, recently announced that its online dental hygiene community, Friends of Hu-Friedy, has added its 25,000th member.
According to the company, Friends of Hu-Friedy provides an interactive experience for the dental hygiene community with opportunities to share stories, experience products, gain continuing education credits, and obtain insights into delivering optimal patient care. Launched in August 2007, The Friends of Hu-Friedy portal has become a resource for hygienists who want to learn about the latest products, techniques, and educational opportunities.
The membership of Angela Blaney, RDH, a practicing clinician for 14 years, brought the community to the 25,000-member mark. In recognition of her status as the 25,000th member, the company provided Blaney with a gift basket full of Hu-Friedy items.
