Krieger will cover how 3D imaging has changed the way orthodontists look at patient cases, and how other practitioners continue to favor traditional panorex and lateral ceph methods.

Henry Schein Event Connect will feature a live webinar on Monday, May 4 at 1:00 pm EST. “Which of my patients need a 3D image?” is the latest installment of the five-part webinar series “3D Imaging: Becoming the standard of care in orthodontics – why?”

Glenn Krieger, DDS, MS, FAGD, is the guest speaker. The session, sponsored by KaVo Kerr, will cover how 3D imaging has changed the way orthodontists look at cases. Krieger will also examine why many in the industry feel that 3D imaging should be used only on very specific cases and otherwise is of no value over a traditional panorex and lateral ceph.

Additionally during this presentation, he will review various cases and show why 3D imaging has not only become an indispensable part of the traditional exam, but how it has uncovered issues—in routine cases—that has helped him treat patients more efficiently and more completely. Krieger is a frequent lecturer and has been published in textbooks and dental periodicals.

Attending participants will be offered 1 CE credit, $20 per doctor. The webinar is free for attendees who do not need the credit.
