Appliance Therapy Group (ATG), Los Angeles, will hold the 8th Annual Appliance Therapy Association (ATPA) Symposium on March 10 through March 13, 2011, at the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa in Las Vegas.

In addition to featuring an entire day dedicated to exploring DentalSleep Medicine, ATPA 2011 will focus on pediatric dentistry and cosmeticdentistry/minor tooth movement for the general dentist. Participatingdoctors are invited to bring their staff, two of whom will be able toattend free of charge.

The symposium’s 4 full days of lectures, instruction, and workshops willinclude the presentations by Ronald Prehn on "Appliance Therapy andTreatment of OSA"; William F. Waggoner DDS, MS, on "Secrets &Solutions for Improving Pediatric Practice"; and Rick DePaul Jr on"Fast, Fixed, Invisible Orthodontics: Lingual PowerProx Six MonthBraces." The TMJ and Sleep Therapy Centre International’s Colette Settlewill present and explain the new TMnDX Software.

The keynote speaker will be NFL Hall-of-Famer Mike Haynesn, who willshare the details of his new pilot program (in association with theAcademy for Sports Dentistry and the Appliance Therapy Group).

Attendees will have the opportunity to earn as many as 42 CE credits,including certification for Duane C. Keller’s Perio-Protect®Method and Dave Singh’s DNA Appliance System. They can also submit casepresentations for display and feedback and attend lectures and workshopson topics ranging from pediatric success secrets to minor toothmovement, mouthguard innovation, and legal imperatives.
