Stratasys-Eden260VS_DA-Right-View-Closed_HighRes Stratasys Ltd rolled out its Objet Eden260VS Dental Advantage 3D printer, the new version of its Eden260V model.

The new system delivers expanded solutions for digital dentistry and is engineered to meet the production needs of mid-size dental labs and mid-to-large-size orthodontic labs.

The Eden260VS is compatible with all Stratasys dental materials, including VeroDent, VeroDentPlus, and VeroGlaze. In addition, it adds a soluble support option, previously unavailable on PolyJet dental systems. Soluble support technology is designed to enable the user to easily clean parts with fine features, such as small, removable die inserts in dental models. Additional features include automated support removal, which allows a lower labor cost per part.

According to the Minneapolis- and Rehovot, Israel-based company, users also have the ability to switch between soluble and water jet modes to balance low-cost automation with the occasional need for hands-on support removal.
