Planmeca, Helsinki, Finland, recently introduced a new Cephalometric Analysis module for its Romexis® software.

Romexis is used by orthodontists for acquiring, viewing, and processing 2D and 3D images. The new module allows orthodontists to create cephalometric analyses and compose superimpositions of 2D cephalometric images, facial photos, and images of the dental arch. Images are captured in Planmeca Romexis. During the treatment process, the module allows orthodontists to superimpose patient images from different times for follow-up purposes.

Results and images can be shared anywhere using the mobile Planmeca iRomexis™ application and Planmeca’s cloud service. The module also lets users customize analyses and aspects of the software.
