WildSmiles Inc, makers of DesignerBraces, recently announced the recipient of their Fall 2019 resident scholarship. The company awards two $1,000 scholarships annually to current residents attending accredited orthodontic residency programs.
Spencer Blackham, DMD, is the recipient of the company’s most recent scholarship. Blackham is currently completing his residency at the University of British Columbia and will graduate in August 2020.
Originally from Chicago, Blackham completed his dental degree at Southern Illinois University. Upon graduation Blackham plans to relocated to Seattle to begin practicing.
Through this scholarship, WildSmiles asks orthodontic residents to share ideas about patient engagement and care during the orthodontic treatment experience.
