3Shape launched 3Shape Dental System 2020 and new clear aligner partner integrations at the Chicago Midwinter show this week.
Designed for labs, 3Shape Dental System 2020 is designed deliver efficient and optimized workflows for the most profitable and in-demand services such as clear aligners, splints, dentures, and more. Highlighted at the Chicago meeting were the software’s denture and bridge workflows. In addition, the company showcased the platform’s integration with major Lab Management Systems to automatically transfer case information between 3Shape Dental System 2020 and lab management systems—exclusive to 3Shape. The software also include an improved model builder workflow.
The company, along with FullContour, and Argen introduced their lab-directed clear aligner workflow. THe new lab-dedicated clear aligner workflow enables labs using 3Shape solutions to offer doctors competitive clear aligners designed by FullContour and manufactured by Argen. The lab’s doctors reportedly have full control over the order, review, and treatment proposal approval using 3Shape’s cloud-based treatment review portal.
