ClearCorrect LLC, Round Rock, Tex, announced the addition of Edward W. Hlousek as its new chief financial officer. He brings with him more than 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, accounting, finance, and management consulting.
Prior to joining ClearCorrect, Hlousek was a consulting and audit partner at Deloitte, McConnell & Jones, and Arthur Andersen. He has held numerous management positions, including global head of merger integration. He is also a member of the Texas Society of CPAs.
Hlousek specializes in SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, international operations, internal controls, and financial and operational due diligence. He has also worked with hundreds of domestic and international corporations across many industries, ranging from oil and gas, to manufacturing and technology. In addition to his extensive professional experience, he also has international experience, including a 4-year residence in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
When asked about his new position, Hlousek explained, “I have been following ClearCorrect since 2011, and have been very impressed with its growth and in the leveraging of its technology over just 2 short years. I am excited to contribute and to be a part of the next chapter for this dynamic company.”
