Carestream Dental, Atlanta, announced the appointment of Mary Conditt to the position of director of clinical affairs, Carestream Dental LLC, the US segment of the business. In this role, Conditt will report to Dr Ed Shellard, chief marketing officer and director of business development for Carestream Dental.

According to a press release from the company, Conditt comes to the position with 20 years of experience in the dental industry and has a proven track record for leading clinical affairs departments. In her new role, Conditt will own all of Carestream Dental’s key opinion leader relationships in addition to maximizing corporate sponsorships, partnerships, and other industry relationships.

“Mary has positively impacted each clinical affairs department she has led since taking on her first director role in 2005,” Shellard said. “With this experience, we are confident she is the ideal person to strengthen our clinical affairs team in terms of our people, her existing relationships, and her ability to forge new partnerships with others in the marketplace. She will be an invaluable asset to Carestream Dental.”

Prior to joining Carestream Dental, Conditt served as the director of clinical affairs at DenMat. She also served as the vice president of clinical affairs at Dental Technologies Inc, where she initiated and developed the clinical affairs department. Before working at Dental Technologies Inc, she spent 2 years at Kerr, restructuring the clinical affairs department to better support customers globally through educational events. ??”I am thrilled to join the Carestream Dental team and look forward to increasing awareness of the company’s advanced imaging, CAD/CAM, software, and practice management solutions for oral health professionals,” Conditt said.

Conditt is based in Fort Worth, Tex, and holds a bachelor’s degree in education from New Mexico State University.
