Align Technology Inc, San Jose, Calif, and Patterson Dental, St Paul, Minn, announced that they have signed a non-exclusive distribution deal for Align’s iTero® Element intraoral scanner.
The deal covers Patterson Dental sales in the United States and Canada. The iTero scanner will be available to Patterson Dental customers beginning in September.
The distribution deal with Align follows Patterson Dental’s announcement earlier this week that it had also reached a distribution agreement with 3Shape. Patterson Dental will be a distributor for the company’s TRIOS intraoral scanner in the United States and Canada.
