The Organization for Safety & Asepsis Procedures (OSAP) has announced a call for abstracts for its 2008 Annual Symposium in Palm Springs, Calif. The Symposium, which will be held June 12 to June 15, will feature experts who will lecture on infection control, occupational health, and safety-sharing.

Abstracts may be submitted in the categories of Infection Control, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, and Other (a category that includes analysis of policy development and implementation, new analysis of existing research, meta-analysis or synthesis from existing studies of the above, and behavioral studies of utilization or adoption of practices by dental personnel). Researchers are encouraged to read OSAP’s Workshop Proceedings regarding the Dental Infection Control Research Agenda for suggestions on research topics.
