Scandex LLC, Boston, a provider of Swedish ergonomic chairs and stools in the US and Canada, recently launched a new dental division. Scandex Swedish ergonomic chairs and stools are designed to support the lumbar area and maintain the “S” position of the spine.

For employees in dental offices, Scandex offers the Bruno ergonomic office chair (series 300) and the Björn ergonomic saddle stool (series 400/600).

Additionally, Scandex’s Web site now provides dentists, hygienists, and assistants with guidelines for using Scandex’s chairs and stools in various settings. The Web site features individual sections for types of arm supports, upholstery, cleaning, and care.
