Ormco Corp, Orange, Calif, will spotlight its latest aesthetic product offerings for orthodontists at the upcoming American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Annual Session in Orlando, Fla. Ormco, along with its lab partner, AOA Lab, will introduce a number of new products and offers product demonstrations at its booth (#1021). In addition, Ormco will host a variety of in-booth lectures and mentoring sessions covering the latest treatment mechanics and marketing tactics.

Among the product offerings the company will be showcasing will be the straight-wire, square-slot Alias Lingual Bracket System. Debuting at the Annual Session, the Alias System was developed with Drs Kyoto Takemoto and Giuseppe Scuzzo. In addition, the company will feature the Demi Plus LED Curing Light and Prezurv™, a new retainer system that provides retention for finished orthodontic cases or a patient’s current occlusion. Prezurv, a new offering from AOA Lab, uses proprietary material. The Prezurv system includes four sets of retainers—one for every 3 months.

Ormco will also showcase its Damon Clear2 brackets, which are now available in variable torques (U3-3), and Insignia Advanced Smile Design™, the company’s computer-designed treatment planning and custom-fabricated appliance system, which has been updated to include enhanced Insignia TIB tubes with reduced profiles and improved bond strength.

In-booth clinical and practice management lectures will features Drs Chris Chang, Stuart Frost, Sonia Palleck, Jeff Kozlowski, and Chris Cosse. They will discuss a range of issues, including how they leverage aesthetic appliances to achieve optimal results, as well as Class III treatment, simple mechanics for vertical problems, digital smile design with Insignia, and how best to utilize online education tools such as My Smile Consult to grow a practice. In addition, clinicians will be available for one-on-one mentoring sessions each day of the exhibition from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm EST.

At its booth, Ormco will also showcase its new Bethany Hamilton Damon Smile Emoji keyboard, which was created to encourage patients to embrace the benefits of orthodontic treatment. Booth attendees can learn how to download the keyboard and receive free emoji-branded buttons and keychains to help patients celebrate their treatment and new smiles.
