Henry Schein Orthodontics, Carlsbad, Calif, will present its “Orthodontic Strategies for Sleep Apnea” course at Dentrix in American Fork, Utah, from February 27 to February 28, 2015. The same course will also be offered at the Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District in Savannah, Ga, from April 17 to April 18, 2015.
The course will explain the physiology of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSA) and the current diagnostic and treatment options, as well as a new orthodontic approach and its protocols. The orthodontic approach is intended to provide patients with immediate relief from OSA, as well as changes to the airway that may address an underlying cause. The program includes a complete, evidence-based system to implement into a practice.
