Orthodontist and dentist are two of the top five best-paying jobs of 2014, according to a new ranking from CareerCast.com, a global job-search site.

Among the list of the top 10 highest-paying jobs in the United States, seven were in the healthcare industry and require completion of a secondary degree.

While surgeons came in at #1 with an annual median salary of $233,150, orthodontists ranked at #4 with an annual median salary of $149,310. Meanwhile, dentists ranked fifth with an annual median salary of $146,340. Surgeons are projected to see their profession grow 18% by 2022, while orthodontists and dentists are projected to see 16% growth in their profession by the same year.

The rankings are based on data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Jobs Rated Reports produced by CareerCast.com.
