The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certified and recertified 95 examinees who participated in the Clinical Examination November 20 to 23, 2013, in St Louis.
During the 2013 exam session, 49 orthodontists completed the Initial Certification Examination (ICE), and 29 orthodontists banked cases for the eventual completion of the ICE. Twenty-one orthodontists successfully completed the Beginning Certification Examination, while 20 orthodontists completed the Gateway Certification Examination, thereby maintaining their certification. Two orthodontists completed Option I, securing lifetime Diplomate status, while two other professionals completed the Voluntary Recertification Examination. And, one orthodontist completed his First Recertification Examination.
