My Dental Hub has modularized its patient education software so dental professionals can customize the technology according to the needs of the practice.
Available via cloud-based technology are four focal products that offer videos, animations, image documents, narrated slide shows, customizable text documents, a document creator, a patient and photo management section, as well as a presentation-creation module. Specifically, the modularized systems include:
* Case Genius (formerly Patient Education): An online subscription module that enables dental professionals and their staff to print and email more 120 documents. Users also are able to customize documents and presentations and store them in a patient’s chart history.
* Show & Tell: treatment videos and animations provide concise explanations about specific procedures. Users can log in from any computer to access the content, show a particular video to a patient, and then email the videos. The online module also provides automatic access to new videos added to the library as part of a yearly subscription.
* Easy Consult: offers 20 pre-made treatment consultation videos, slide shows, and documents that are ready to view, email, or print. Easy Consult is available on a PC or Mac and all mobile devices. Patient information is stored in a secure cloud and accessible via a member login on the MyDentalHub.com website.
* Web Site Content: acts as an online patient education center. With more than 280 videos and animations to choose from, dental professionals can embed selected videos directly onto the practice website; or, users can utilize the Treatment Viewer option to post the entire library of animations and videos for patients to browse.
According to My Dental Hub, mobile apps are available for Show & Tell and Easy Consult. All products are available through a monthly or yearly software subscription.
