[removed]Reliance Orthodontic Products Inc[/removed], Itasca, Ill, now offers the Stainless Steel Ortho FlexTech™ chain retainer, a new version of the company’s Gold Ortho FlexTech. According to the company, the stainless steel version has 30% more tensile strength and 300% more torsional strength than its gold counterpart. The stainless steel Ortho FlexTech has the same dimensions, link style, and length, but costs half as much as the original gold Ortho FlexTech.
