On August 19, 2006, Jeff Drometer, president and founder of First Medica, Greensboro, NC, died unexpectedly. David Small, who was Drometer’s longtime business partner, has acquired full ownership of the company. Russ Gaffney, who has been with the company since 1995, has been named vice president of operations.
First Medica supplies the orthodontic market with a range of products, including Medflex Disposable Apparel, Medica 28 and Medica DC10 chemicals, Hilux Curing Lights, and the LED Blast cordless light.
